About

Studio Strong is the creation of renowned movement coach and choreographer Randi Strong.

Originally from Orem, UT, Randi is best known for being a Top 5 Female Dancer on Season 5 of the FOX hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance and the accompanying 40 city national arena tour.  On the show, Randi and her partner turned into one of the most memorable performances in the show's history: the infamous "Butt Dance" choreographed by Emmy award winning choreographer Mia Michaels.

As a longtime performer, some of her other well-known appearances include: Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Dancing With The Stars, The Voice, Christina Aguilera, Arianna Grande, Fuller House, Will & Grace, X-Factor, and a myriad other live and recorded productions.

It was during a tour of Love On The Floor in Japan that she met Olympic medalists Charlie White and Meryl Davis, as well as Daisuke Takahashi and Kristi Yamaguchi. This was the beginning of what became a new era in Randi's life: teaching skaters of all styles and levels about dance, movement, technique, and performance.

Since then, Randi has become one of the most sought after dance and movement coaches in the world supporting established Olympic athletes as well as up and coming stars.  It soon became clear that she couldn't be everywhere at once; and between her belief in consistency in training and the constant requests from coaches, skaters, and parents to provide more training and material, it all led to the development of Studio Strong.  With a roster of hand-picked instructors, Studio Strong has instruction on different dance styles, warmups, cooldowns, movement cues, and more; all of them created from square one to aid skaters in their off-ice training and improving their on-ice performance.  Welcome to Studio Strong!
